Opening more Crisis Cafes

Image shows people having coffee outside of a Crisis Cafe
We want to open 22 more Crisis Cafes across Leicester. Leicestershire and Rutland.

Crisis Cafes offer a safe space where people can get help if they are experiencing a mental health crisis. There are currently three Crisis Cafes – two in Leicester and one in Loughborough (run by Turning Point).

We want to open a further 22 Crisis Cafes for people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Through this consultation we want to know where people would like these to be located.

Crisis Cafes offer a safe space and support for people who do not need immediate medical assessment.

Support is tailored to a person's needs, with immediate coaching, guidance and targeted interventions.
